National Reviews on SDGs

The UN Secretariat recently issued a note compiling the main messages of the Voluntary National Reviews (VNRs) of 45 countries. All these messages are to be presented at the SDG Summit in July 2022. These VNRs share national experiences that showcase the successes, challenges, and lessons that certain countries have learned while trying to achieve SDGs.

Many countries will be presenting their VNRs for the second or third time. Some of these countries are Botswana, Sri Lanka, and United Arab Emirates.


I find that these VNRs are very important as they are contributing to Goal 17 (Partnership through Goals). This is because these VNRs are teaching other countries and encouraging them to work towards their SDGs.
